Please read carefully. By signing this agreement I understand that I will bring my dress or items to be sold or donate to the Dress Rescue event at the above DROP OFF time between 8:30-10am on August 27th (the day of the rescue) at the event venue Hilton Garden Inn University Place 3454 Forbes Ave. PGH Pa 15213. If I do not bring my dress or items to be sold or donated at the above time, I understand that they may not be included in the dress rescue sale. I also understand that at the above PICK UP time between 6:30-8pm on August 27th (the day of the rescue) at the event venue Hilton Garden Inn University Place 3454 Forbes Ave. PGH Pa 15213. If I do not return to CLAIM my dress or items to be sold or donated at the above time, I understand that they will be donated to a charitable organization without my consent. I agree to arrive at the dedicated DROP OFF and PICK UP times and hereby waive all liability of the Dress Rescue Team , Nicole Brough and Your Big Day LLC regarding above conditions.
If I am DONATING a dress or items to the rescue I understand that is it ok if the dress or items are lightly soiled , but WILL NOT bring dress or items if they are beyond a simple repair or has an odor or is in a state that is not fit for a bride in need. As a donated dress, it does not need to be perfect just what I personally feel is an acceptable compromise as a donation.
If I am SELLING a dress or items to the rescue I understand that the price I have listed above will be the price on the tag at the event, this does not guarantee that the dress will be sold, and I am taking responsibility for pricing the dress according to what I feel would sell. Dress Rescue Team , Nicole Brough and Your Big Day LLC are not responsible for pricing or discounting the dress at any time. Or for the successful sale of the dress, or lack of sale. I also understand and accpet that the dress may get solied or dirty during the sale and trying on process, and will not hold the Dress Rescue event/staff Nicole Brough or Your Big Day LLC liable for any charges to launder the dress or items.
I also understand that by donating or selling my items to the dress rescue event I will not hold the Dress Rescue staff , Nicole Brough, or Your Big Day LLC liable for any damage or missing pieces to my items or dress during the sale. I also understand that any dress that is sold or claimed at the Dress Rescue event is no longer my dress and that I surrender it to the person who buys or claims the dress.
If I am SELLING items to the Dress Rescue, I must sign up for a PAY PAL account in order to accept my funds from the sale of my dress. You may sign up for the PAY PAL account if and when your dress sells. If you do not sign up for a PAY PAL account, you relinquish your funds to Your Big Day as we will accept no other way of money transfer. Transfer will be discussed should your dress sell. If your dress DOES sell, we will contact you to let you know so you do not need to return for PICK UP. There will also be a $20 fee attached to all sales, to cover the Pay Pal transfer fees and bank fees.
If you are DONATING a dress there are no fees attached and no profit being made. The dress will simple go home with the bride who needs it most. No strings attached. We are hoping to take photos of all donated dresses that are claimed with the bride who claims them, as a special keepsake.
IF MY DRESS SELLS ?
The Dress Rescue staff will contact you IF and ONLY IF your dress sells. All other persons who do not recieve a call from our staff will be responsible to come back at PICK UP time to cliam their dress. We will then contact you first thing monday morning to discuss and confirm the transfer of your money to your PAYPAL account.
