The mission of the Dean’s Ambassador Program (DAP) is to involve a dynamic group of students dedicated to volunteering and supporting NTC’s strategic endeavors for the upcoming years in a diverse range of college activities.

The Dean’s Ambassadors perform two crucial roles: to provide advice and feedback to the Dean and to represent NTC in various functions and alumni events throughout the year.

Candidates aspiring to become Dean's Ambassadors should demonstrate a profound commitment to leadership and service, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm for the role. Ideal Ambassadors must exhibit a curiosity and eagerness to learn from diverse populations.

Eligibility is open to Sophomore, Junior, or Senior students maintaining a commendable GPA of 3.0 or higher, while also ensuring good academic and conduct standing.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential attributes for potential Ambassadors.
Ambassadors must commit to a full academic year of service.
In the selection process, the Dean's office will assess each applicant's social media presence.
Applicants are required to provide the name and contact information of a campus reference, be it a faculty or staff member.
A history of volunteerism, leadership, involvement in student organizations, work experience, or similar pursuits is highly valued.
A commitment to advancing diversity within Newcomb-Tulane College and the campus community further enhances the candidacy of prospective Dean's Ambassadors.
