NTC staff who are interested in joining a NTC S4T committee are asked to select their interest below.

Committee members will provide valuable information to the college that will assist in advancing and embedding EDI into the culture and work at NTC.

Co-chaired by: Cathy Marques, Associate Director of Academic Affairs the role of NTC’s Student Programming Committee is to review the university-wide pillars of the Strategy for Tomorrow and create a plan for how NTC can advance those pillars in student programming through 2027.

Chaired by Eddy Cruz, Assistant Dean & Executive Director of Career Services the Racial Equity and Cultural Competence Committee (RECCC) works to review the overall culture of NTC and how it affects BIPOC staff and students, especially those who hold multiple marginalized identities.

Duties:

  • Committee members are asked to serve at least a two-year term
  • Committees should meet two times per semester
  • Identify strategic priorities and objectives each year to address
  • Submit findings/recommendations at the end of each semester to the Assistant Dean of EDI, SP and Administration
