Please bring the following with you to the training:

1. Youth Protection training card . Print a copy of your certificate before hand and bring a copy to attach to your application.
2. Decide on at least one Merit Badge you will counsel. A complete list can be found: https://www.scouting.org/skills/merit-badges/all/

3. Completed Merit Badge Counselor Information worksheet indicating which Merit Badges you’re interested in.

4. Completed Adult Application (use Position code 42) for Merit Badge Counselor (No Charge)

5. AB-506 - Complete Mandated Reporter Training from the state of California and provide a copy of it. Life Scan Form for finger printing. Find the Live Scan site near you, bring the completed form to the service provider.
