Welcome to the San Benito Prairie! Fort Benito at Bolado Park in Tres Pinos is a great place to make lifelong memories.  Bolado Park offers exciting activities for Cub Scouts AND Tiger Cubs to investigate their world.  Those activities include BB gun shooting, archery, leatherwork, and more!

Camper Registration

Webelos/AOL Overnighter

Webelos Overnight Camp will be taking place the evening of Thursday, June 15th. It is specifically for Scouts entering the 4th or 5th grade in the fall of 2023.  All Scouts attending the Webelos Overnight  must be under the supervision of an adult who has agreed to be responsible for that Webelos/AOL Scout.  Immediately following the close of camp that day, the scouts will continue with sessions organized especially for them.  Dinner will be served that evening.  Each family must bring their own tent, sleeping bags, change of clothing and toiletries if planning to stay overnight.  Breakfast will be provided prior to the opening of camp on Friday morning.

The adult chaperone attending with their Webelos or Arrow of Light MUST be registered and complete Parts A&B of the Annual Health Form.

Tiger Registration (Friday Program)

You selected that your child is in 1st grade in the fall and is a Tiger. A Tiger is a Cub Scout entering the first grade in the fall. Our Tiger Program is Friday only and costs $20. Tigers require 1:1 supervision by a parent or guardian, or a qualified adult for the duration of camp. This adult must register and complete a health form.

Adult Helpers

Parents make the camp work!
 

Our camps are only possible thanks to our amazing team of volunteer staff putting it on.  We need many adult helpers who are able to come throughout the week to fill program and staff positions.  An adult from each family is required to help a minimum of 2 days in order for your camper to participate. Friday Tiger Program is exempt.

There will also be a mandatory training for all adult staff help prior to camp.  Adults are also required to fill out the Health Form parts A and B.

Required Forms

Health Form AB is required for each person at camp when they are onsite longer than one hour. This includes participants, kiddie korral, staff, and volunteers. Please forward your forms to your unit's day camp registrar.

Cancellations/Transfers
If there are any cancellations, please notify the Cub Camp Team at fortbenito.dc@gmail.com at least 14 days prior to the committed date. All refunds/transfers are subject to a 25% cancellation fee.
 
There are no refunds 14 days before the event. The event will be held rain or shine. No refunds due to weather or schedule conflicts.
 
In the event that the camp cannot be held, you would receive a full refund.
Serious medical emergencies (may require a doctor note) or death of immediate family members would receive full refund within 14 days of camp. All other emergencies subject to consideration.
