For Winter Quarter 2020, Porter Senate meets Wednesday evengins 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm in the Porter Hitchcock Lounge unless otherwise posted.
Unless otherwise advised, proposals that are complete and submitted by 4:00 pm Tuesday will be automatically placed on Porter Senate's agenda for the following Friday Senate meeting. You, or a representative, must attend the meeting at which your funding proposal will be considered and give a brief presentation (no more that 5 minutes) of your request and answer questions posed by Senate.
All proposals must attach an detailed budget outlining how funds would be used, as well as a descrition of the program or event proposed. Please include a list of all other funding sources - both pending and already secured.
Porter Senate cannot fund retro-actively, i.e. funds can only be applied to future expenditures, an canot be used to cover purchases or expenditures already made.
Porter Senate will distrubute funds via purchase order* or Transfer of Funds to another Unviersity account. Senate funds cannot be accessed by re-imbursement.
