School District Trustee Election Change Feedback

LCSD1 is interested in obtaining stakeholder feedback concerning the manner in which school district trustees are elected. Information on a proposed change to this process is available at this link on our website.

1. I have read the resolution passed on 7/13/20 regarding changing the way LCSD1 Board of Trustees would be elected in the future.

1: I support electing three Trustees from three Residence Areas that approximate the current boundaries of the Central, East, and South Triads of LCSD1, keeping voting precincts intact. Voters in each Residence Area would elect one Trustee who is a resident of that Residence Area. The remaining four Trustees would continue to be elected at large, by all voters in LCSD1 from any residence in the district.

2: I support the current policy of electing seven Trustees at large.
