This form is available for parents to approve that their child be excluded from the deep water test for the 2024 season. This is only for the parents that are giving permission for their child to swim in the deep water with out having to retest again this year. In order for the approval to be vaild you must agree to the follow:
1. Your child has participated in Windwood Day Camp within the last two years.
2. Your child has passed the deep water test provided by Windwood Park during the 2022 or 2023 season and has proven to be a strong independent swimmer in deep water.
3. You agree that your child does not have to retest for the 2024 season and that you do allow them to swim in the deep water and participate on the waterslide.
Your child will always be monitored by staff and certified lifeguards at all times while in the swimming pool. If we feel that your child is struggling in the deep water, we will retest the child and communicate that with you.
If this is the first year your child has been to Windwood Park, they will be given the deep water test as a precausion. Please do not fill out this form if you are a first time participant. Also, all the Early Years program camper are restricted to the shallow end of the swimming pool and baby pool play area during free swim and will not be given the test as they are not allowed in the deep water.
