Donate your vehicle to the American Public Health Association

Donating your vehicle is fast, easy, tax deductible and is no cost to you.

How do I start the donation process?

1. Before you get started, you must have the state-issued title in hand when calling or submitting your donation online.

2. Donate your vehicle using the online form below, or call a donation service agent at 1-888-424-2742 (APHA).

3. The towing company will contact you to arrange a convenient pickup time for your car donation.

4. You will receive the IRS 1098c for your tax deduction within 30 days of the sale of the vehicle.

By donating your vehicle, you support the mission of APHA to improve the health of the public and achieve equity in health status and will join Generation Public Health, our movement to create the healthiest nation in one generation. In addition, APHA has partnered with Melwood's Charity Car Donations Center to manage and operate our car donation program. Melwood, a non-profit organization, provides employment and training for individuals with differing abilities. A portion of your car donation will help support Melwood's important programs.

We accept ALL vehicle regardless of age or condition.

Please complete this simple online form for the fastest and easiest way to donate your vehicle. The form only takes a few minutes to complete, and your car donation will be processed immediately.

Once you hit the "Submit" button, you will receive an email notification, normally within hours, with all the processing and pickup information. The local towing agency will call you within 48 business hours to make any towing arrangements before picking up your donated car.

We value your personal privacy and will NOT sell, loan or give your personal information to a third-party company except for the sole purpose of processing your car donation.

In order to complete the following, you must have your original vehicle title and, if applicable, lien release.
