The application deadline for the Fall 2016 Internship Grant Program is Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 12PM.  NO LATE OR INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR ANY REASON.  Last minute submissions are more likely to run into technical problems.

Applicant Acknowledgement

In applying for a grant from the Barnard College Alumnae and Donor Sponsored Internship Grant Program (the “Internship Grant Program”):

1.  I attest that all of the information that I have provided in this application is true.

2.  I verify that I am currently a matriculated Barnard College student in good academic standing.

3.  I acknowledge that I have read the Internship Grant Program application guidelines available on Barnard Student Employment Services' website here.

4. I verify that I will have secured the internship position described in my application by orientation. I also understand that pursue an internship not listed on my application that I will be disqualified from the program. If selected as an internship grant recipient, I agree to commit to the internship listed on my Internship Grant Program application for a minimum of 80 hours in total for a fall or spring semester internship, or for a minimum of 200 hours in total for a summer internship.

5.  If selected as an internship grant recipient, I agree to complete all Internship Grant Program requirements as listed on Barnard Student Employment Services website here.  I understand that payments will be based on my completion of these requirements. I also verify that I understand that my payments can be held until my requirements are completed.

6. As an internship grant recipient, I understand that my application, including resume and other supplied information will be shared with the donor(s) and future grantees of my internship grant. I also understand that I may be required to participate in Development activities to support and promote the Alumnae and Donor Internship Program. I understand and agree that my application can and may be shared with Barnard College Student Employment Services. I also agree that my application in total (including my resume) may be shared with current and potential donors for purposes of supporting development activities at Barnard College.

7. I understand that any amounts I list as received as part of my internship (Metro card allowances, lunch allowances, etc.) will be deducted from my award.

8. I understand if I am a financial aid recipient that final awarding of the grant will be based on review of my financial aid remaining need. If I am found to have no remaining financial aid need, I will be ineligible for the grant.
