Program Requirements & Overview

The Barnard Advertising Bootcamp in partnership with Deutsch Advertising Inc., and Translation LLC., is a 2 day program on Friday, October 23, 2015 (on-site at Translation offices) & Friday, October 30, 2015 (on-site at Deutsch Advertising), designed specifically for Barnard students with a range of diverse backgrounds, academic majors and work experiences.

To apply, you must be a junior or senior interested in the advertising industry with a minimum GPA of 3.0.  The deadline to apply is Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 11:59pm. 

 

The Barnard Adveristing Bootcamp will:

1) Introduce you to advertising, as well as its specific sectors, and the day-to-day responsibilies associated with each.

2) Help you build upon your strengths, as they relate to the advertising field.

3) Teach you how to assemble your personal portfolio and market yourself to potential employers.

4) Teach you how to craft industry specific resumes and cover letters and navigate the interview process.

5) Give you the opportunity to complete a client case study, present to Deutsch management and get direct feedback on your work.
