ALUMNAE TO STUDENT MENTORING MENTOR APPLICATION

Program Overview and Requirements

The Mentoring Program matches current students with alumnae for ongoing mentoring throughout the academic year. 

YOU MUST LIVE IN THE NYC METRO AREA TO PARTICIPATE.

Deadline to apply: August 21st 11pm

As a mentor in the program, you will take part in the following:

1)  One-to-one mentoring: Each mentor will be paired with a single undergraduate student based on specified career interests.  *Pairs are expected to be in contact regularly, about twice a month.

2)  Required Events for mentoring pairs:

  • Sunday, October 1st (11am-11:45am training for new mentors, Brunch 12-2pm for both returning mentors and new mentors): Kick-off Event to meet your match! **CANNOT SERVE AS A MENTOR WITHOUT ATTENDING THIS
  • Mentors must attend at least one Mentoring Program event in the fall and one in the spring [Dates/Topics TBD]

3)  Highly recommended but optional events:

  • February Social Month: Various events throughout the month of February led by mentor leaders
