Ballots for the 2020-2021 School Budget Vote & Election
Ballots for the 2020-2021 School Budget Vote & Election were mailed out to all registered voters within the Rocky Point School District on Thursday, May 28, 2020. You should be receiving your ballots by Monday, June 1st.
If you have just recently registered to vote with the Board of Elections but did not receive a ballot, your ballot has not yet been mailed. We are expected to receive the list of recent registered voters shortly and plan to mail ballots to those on the list by Wednesday, June 3rd.
Please note that in order for your ballot to be valid:
- You must date, sign and seal the oath envelope as the instructions state
- The ballot must be received by the District Clerk by 5pm on Tuesday, June 9th
All ballots are to be mailed back in the return envelope that was provided along with your ballot. The envelope already includes the required postage. If for any reason you were unable to mail the completed ballot, there will be a ballot box located at the District Office entrance (90 Rocky Point-Yaphank Road) on Tuesday, June 9th only from 8am – 5pm.
