UNIVERSAL PRE-KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM 2024-2025

For the 2024-2025 school year, there are tentatively 66 half-day program seats and 66 full-day program seats available. The lottery drawing will be held in mid-June pending NYSED funding approval. Preschool participation has yet to be determined and specific school placement or AM/PM seats for half-day students cannot be guaranteed. The Frank J. Carasiti Elementary School will not be a placement option. The deadline will be May 24, 2024, to submit an application for the UPK lottery.

In order to register for Universal Prekindergarten in the 2024-2025 school year, children must be four (4) years of age on or before December 1, 2024. Please complete the pre-registration survey below in order to be included in the lottery drawing.

***NOTE: Students that are eligible to attend Kindergarten in Fall 2024 may not register for the PreK lottery. Three year olds are not eligible for the lottery. Transportation to and from UPK is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.***
