The Los Altos Educational Foundation (LAEF) raises funds to provide teachers and essential programs at all Los Altos School District (LASD) neighborhood schools, benefiting every TK-8 student. LAEF helps fill the gap in school funding from federal, state, and local sources and is the only way for parents to fund LASD teaching staff in our district.
For the 2024-25 school year, we are funding physical education (PE) in elementary schools, computer science, librarians, 4th-6th grade music, the Art Docents program, the Living Classroom program, junior high electives, mental health counseling, and the MVLA Parent Education Speaker Series.
Donate to make a difference! One donation to LAEF can be made for all students in your family.
- Suggested donation: $1,400 per student in one-time or monthly recurring payments to be completed by June 30. Gifts of any amount are appreciated.
- Increase your impact by submitting for a corporate match. Both parents can apply!
- Consider a gift at the Leadership Circle level of $5,000 or more. Corporate matches can be applied toward your total gift amount.
- Consider making an additional donation to our Community Champion program to bring more equity to our classrooms for a student whose family is unable to contribute at this time. Learn more on our website.
- See below for ways to donate to LAEF. Thank you for your support!
