The Los Altos Educational Foundation (LAEF) raises funds to provide teachers and essential programs at all Los Altos School District (LASD) neighborhood schools, benefiting every TK-8 student. LAEF helps fill the gap in school funding from federal, state, and local sources and is the only way for parents to fund LASD teaching staff in our district.

For the 2023-24 school year, we are funding computer science, mental health counseling, librarians, music teachers, the Art Docents Program, the STEM program, elementary school physical education (PE), junior high electives, and the Parent Education Speaker Series.

Donate to make a difference! One donation to LAEF can be made for all students in your family.

• Suggested donation: $1,400 per student in one-time or monthly recurring payments to be completed by June 30. Gifts of any amount are appreciated.
• Increase your impact by submitting for a corporate match.
• Consider a gift at the Leadership Circle level of $5,000 or more. Corporate matches can be applied toward your total gift amount.
