Schools of Choice Waiver Request

Subsection 21 of Sections 105 and 105c of the State School Aid Act (MCL 388.1705 and 388.1705c) provides the State Superintendent with the authority to grant a waiver from a specific requirement for not more than 1 year. To be eligible for a waiver, the schools of choice program must meet the requirements defined in statute, and summarized in the following definitions document:
