About the Film
Engaging the Senses presents The Story of Everything, a multimedia film based on a theater piece written by beloved Hawai‘i Poet Laureate Kealoha that lifts up our common humanity. Rich with curiosity and embodying hope, the feature film explores diverse explanations for the origins of life, uniquely blending past & present, science & consciousness, and the environment & the arts. Poetry, dance, music, art and special effects condense 13.7 billion years into an hour and 45 minute journey that asks and answers two compelling questions that have challenged humans from the very beginning: Where do we come from? And even more important, Where do we go next?

About Kealoha Wong ’95
The founder of Hawai‘i Slam, Youth Speaks Hawai‘i, and First Thursdays, Kealoha was honored as a “National Poetry Slam Legend” in 2010. He has performed at ‘Iolani Palace, the White House, the Smithsonian Museum, and the Pro Bowl Halftime Show and has collaborated onstage with local musicians Jack Johnson, Henry Kapono, and Hapa. He has appeared on NBC, PBS, the Food Network, National Public Radio, and the Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards.
A member of the Punahou Class of 1995, Kealoha graduated with honors from MIT with a degree in nuclear engineering and a minor in writing. As an internationally-acclaimed poet and storyteller, Kealoha has traveled the world from Brazil to Switzerland. He lives in Honolulu.
