2020 NJSO Edward T. Cone Composition Institute Application Form

Application deadline: Application and hard copy scores must be received by Friday, February 14, 2020.
No application materials will be returned. The NJSO reserves the right to use submissions for publicity and/or display.

Three bound copies of the score must be submitted in hard copy (11 x 17 in. or smaller) using a standard notation program such as Sibelius or Finale. Handwritten scores will not be accepted. Scores must adhere to Major Orchestra Librarians’ Association (MOLA) guidelines.

Scores must be received by Friday, February 14, 2020.
I hereby certify that the musical composition submitted is my original work. Furthermore, any copyrighted materials, including texts, have been cleared for use. If selected, I am responsible for providing all performance materials to the NJSO by Friday, May 8, 2020, and I understand that the NJSO will not pay any rental or purchase fee for the required parts and scores.  If selected, I agree that my name and photo may be used for publicity purposes. I agree to the requirements and guidelines of the NJSO Edward T. Cone Composition Institute, and I understand that no submitted materials will be returned.
