Diversifying Boards: Best Practices, Strategies and Resources
- To create and sustain lasting, measurable impact -
Board diversity goes beyond “checking the box.” It requires introspection, courageous conversations, bold leadership, and a commitment of time, talent, and treasures. Furthermore, board service is most impactful when it embodies diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. That requires a degree of vulnerability, fearlessness, recognizing the importance of representation, and making room for diverse perspectives, cultures, sectors, backgrounds, and life experiences (lived and shared) as well as divergent thinking and a growth mindset. Let’s talk best practices, explore strategies & put resources in your hands to help you more effectively serve your organization, fellow board members & community.
