Application Instructions for CCAD Internship Program

Please review the application instructions below carefully before beginning an application.

Please note this application is only open for Non National candidates

Applications will be prioritized based on merit. If applicants are considered for acceptance, candidates will be interviewed by the department prior to acceptance by the program.

Applications must be submitted at least two months before the requested training date.

Applications with requests for less than one month Internship duration or applications submitted on short notice of the start date will not be accepted for review and application will be deleted.

The process for the application will only begin once all required documents have already been completed and validated by our team.

 

Tuition Information

The tuition for the Medical Imaging Internship Program is AED 12,000 per 6 months cycle. Applicants who are accepted into the program will be required to pay the tuition fees in full prior to the start of the program.

General Application Requirements 

Eligibility:

Graduates of a UAE Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) approved or recognized undergraduate Bachelor of Science Radiography program; Bachelor degree in a Radiography /Radiology Technology or Medical Imaging program

All applicants will need to submit the following documents: (All attachements should be in PDF files. Zipped files will not be accepted)

  • Completed Online Application
  • Passport Copy (Clear and Colored Copy)
  • Emirates ID (For UAE Residents, Front & Back) Applicable for UAE Residents
  • 1 Photo (Passport Size)
  • Proof of Health Insurance (copy of health insurance / coverage in the UAE)

 Supplemental Application Requirements

  • Letter of Intent (provide personal background information, describe why the Internship program at CCAD appeals to you, and define what skills and interests you have that would make you a good candidate for this program)
  • Official transcript issued by your School Registrar
  • CV
  • 2 Letters of Recommendation (from faculty, supervisor, or Director of Experiential Education)

Occupational Health Requirements*

Once you have submitted your application, if selected to attend as an intern, you will be required to provide a health clearance documents. This will be sent to you in an email from the CCAD Academic Office. In the meantime, please prepare a copy of your immunization records.

Important Notice

  • All INCOMPLETE and submitted applications will be automatically deleted from our system. Please take time in filling up the form and uploading the required documents.
  • Applications with requests for less than two month duration or applications submitted on short notice of the start date will not be accepted for review and application will be deleted.

  • In any case that you will not be able to complete your program, the Academic Office will not issue a Certificate.
  • Interns DO NOT receive any financial support, worker's compensation, housing, insurance coverage, or other compensation from CCAD.
  • Interns should follow all bylaws, procedures, and policies implemented at CCAD.
  • Interns should follow patient confidentiality as outlined in policy “Confidentiality of Patient Health Information” (FIN_POL_110).
