Thank you for your interest in pursuing an APhA Academy of Pharmacy Practice and Management (APhA-APPM) SIG Coordinator-elect position. Prior to completing the online application form, please review the candidate information and election timeline provided below.
** Please note: Candidates must be a current member of APhA; and hold APhA-APPM as the primary Academy.
** Eligible members with a degree in pharmacy are preferred. Non-pharmacist members meeting required criteria and qualifications can be considered.
** Individuals must select only ONE SIG position of interest. Please do not submit multiple applications.
** Applicants must be present during the SIG elections. SIG elections will take place during the SIG Business Meeting during the APhA2017 Annual Meeting in San Francisco, CA.
2017 Election Timeline:
January 18, 2017 Application deadline for the 2017 APhA-APPM SIG Coordinator-elect Election
January/February 2017 APhA-APPM Executive Committee convenes, election slate announced
TBA- Early Feb. 2017 Deadline for slated candidates' Personal Statement and Biosketch
March 24-27, 2017 Voting, announcement of results & installation of successful candidates will
occur during the respective APhA2017 SIG Business Meetings in
San Francisco, CA
The APhA-APPM SIG Coordinator-elect will serve a two year term (1 year - Coordinator-elect; 1 year - Coordinator). Candidates elected during this election cycle must commit to attending the following mandatory functions:
APhA2018 Annual Meeting in Nashville, TN (March 16-19, 2018)
APhA2019 Annual Meeting in Seattle, WA (March 22-25, 2019)
** Expenses borne by the elected candidate.
