UNMLA 2014 SORONA Teacher Workshops in Applied Technologies- Participant Application- Workshop will be Monday, July 14- Friday, July 18 in Los Alamos, NM (this workshop is free of charge...participants will receive a stipend)

UNM-Los Alamos is proud to offer the 2014 SORONA Teacher Workshops in Applied Technologies developed for high school and middle school teachers. This year's SORONA workshop -will include Solar Thermal, Remotely Operated Robotics and Electronics. This is a week-long immersion in hands-on learning about implimenting this technology in your classrooms and relating careers in these three rapidly growing 21st century STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) disciplines.

Housing will be funded for those participants desiring to stay in town and not commute during the workshop time period.
