What is Form Login?

The Form Login feature enables the creation of an account that allows a user to partially complete a given form and return later to finish. To complete the form, the user would have to login using a specific username and password set forth during the creation of the account.

Adding A New Form Login To Your Form

While editing a form, simply drag the Form Login item from the "Specialty Items" tab on the left to your form. Details are shown in the "Page Configuration" box. When you are finished, click the "Save" button.

Form Login

To maintain Form Login, go to the Form Login page: "Form->Form Login". On the Form Login page, you have your options as to how to put the Form Login feature to use.

A common use of the Form Login feature is enable users to return to the form at a later time. To enable this feature, check "Yes" under "Enable Form Login" in the Form Login page. If "No" is checked, then the user will not be able to login to the form. Also, users will not be able to create new accounts.

Another use of the Form Login feature is enable users to create an account for the form. To enable this feature, check "Yes" under "Allow User Created Accounts:" in the Form Login page. If "No" is checked, then the user will not be able to create an account for the form.

Login Accounts

To manually add user accounts, click the "Simple Add" tab and enter the information in the appropriate box. Each account must have a username and password, email is optional.

  • Click the "Simple Add" tab
  • Type in the username, password, and email in the text box under the appropriate header: "Username", "Password", "Email". If you want to add more than one account, simply go on to the next row of text boxes and fill in the appropriate fields.

The "Bulk Add" allows you to add a large number of accounts at a time in CSV format.

  • Click the "Bulk Add" tab (recommended when adding a large number of accounts)
  • Enter the users' information and be sure to follow the strict format:
username, password, email. If you want to add more than one account, separate each new account with a new line and follow the format.
