Dear LTEF Grant Applicant,

Please read and follow the instructions below regarding your application for grant funding from the Lake Travis Education Foundation.

1) Create a username/password combination (account) so that you will be able to access your online application form. The account you establish will enable you to return at a later time to view, update, or submit a final version of your form.

2) The account you establish here is for this single application only. If you apply for more than one grant, you will need to create a separate username/password combination for each grant proposal.  We suggest that you set your username to correspond with the specific grant (i.e., SmithMtnMath, SmithHistoryMap, etc.).  LTEF does not have access to your account login information, so it's perfectly fine to use your name, initials, or any username you choose that isn't already in use.

3) You will be unable to use the same username/password from a grant proposal submitted in a prior year.  This is because each username/password is specific to a particular grant application.  Please be sure to create a new username/password for each application or your data will not save.

4) We also suggest that you make note of your username/password combination(s) and choose the option to have your account info emailed to you, as your login information will not be available to anyone but yourself.  (LTEF will not be able to retrieve this information for you.)  To be safe, please write down your username/password information for each proposal and keep it in a secure place.

5) Although this log-in page does offer the ability to retrieve your password should you forget it, the system will only supply the password set up for the most recent username associated with your email address.  Therefore, if you created multiple usernames for multiple grant requests (as suggested), you will not be able to retrieve a password on any except the most recently-submitted application.  We stress the importance of writing down your usernames and passwords as instructed above.

6) You may revisit your form and update as often as you like (if you retain your account info), but your final submission of the proposal prior to the deadline will be the proposal that is evaluated.

7) IMPORTANT: If you've entered any data into your application, it will not save unless you hit either the "SAVE PARTIAL WORK" or "SUBMIT" button at the end before leaving the form.  You will be able to revisit your form and edit your answers up until the March deadline.

8) We highly recommend that you print a copy of your proposal before submitting it each time you visit.  This is because junk mail settings may sometimes interfere with receiving the emailed results of your application.

9) Results and account information are not saved in the system from year to year.  If you set up an account in a prior year, you will need to set up new user name/password combinations (different than those used in a prior year) for this year's application process.
